Harassment can be subjective, but if jokes or comments are repetitive, targets a person’s race, looks, religion, gender or create a hostile work environment, then it might be harassment.

Harassment at Work Environment can come in various forms. It’s pretty broad and not subjected to just one or two types.

How were you harrassed and what did you do about it?
Umm story of my life, after my first baby at my former place of work, I became pregnant 11 months after, omo see tongues wagging even to the extent that a colleague said the HR is complaining that i cannot be going for maternity leave every year… My God I was really disappointed at that point, that she couldn’t address this professionally… I summoned the courage to speak to the HR about it and asked if I should tender my resignation instead of the side talks or she should address the issue by letting the entire staff know the rules concerning child bearing in the company… She apologized and said she never meant it that way and ever since then I had my peace at work not minding anyone’s talk , and less I forget we became best of friends irrespective of her position and age.
