I got a call yesterday evening from an ex-colleague. She sounded frustrated and felt like quitting. The problem? Despite bending over backward to ensure things get done, she constantly got harassed with the question “What did you even spend your time on?”
The first time she got this question from her boss, she was happy to list out her achievements. By the end of the second week, she had been asked the question four times and it was getting frustrating.
At my workplace, we use Drogo, so this question never comes up for anyone.
But I’m curious: For people who don’t use Drogo, how do you deal with it?
At my last job, his question used to drive me crazy, especially when it felt like it was on repeat.
However, thanks to Drogo, that question is no longer necessary. This software allows my employer and manager to see my schedule ahead of time, so they know exactly what I’ll be working on for the day and week. At the conclusion of each day or week, Drogo generates a concise overview of what I’ve completed. Who would have thought such a simple change could have such an incredible impact? It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I no longer have to deal with that unpleasant question.
